Brian is a Partner at Big Sky Partners, where he helps source and support founders across AI, media, web3, deep tech, and action sports. He works shoulder-to-shoulder with various portfolio companies on scaling, strategy, hiring, fundraising, and the messy in-between.
He started in Los Angeles as a writer and DGA director, working on scripted projects with Fox, Disney, Comedy Central, and Sony. His documentary films have premiered at SXSW, won Streamy Awards, and were acquired by Verizon/Complex, Netflix, and Showtime.
In 2017, after a run with top YouTube creators at Studio71, Brian co-founded a social storytelling platform for writers and video creators to publish, build communities, and get paid — reaching millions of MAUs and processing over 130M in-app transactions before the company was acquired.
Today, alongside his work at Big Sky, Brian supports Meriwether Companies with media and marketing — helping bring lifestyle-driven real estate projects like Coral Mountain, Cabo Real Surf Club, and NIHI Rote to life. He’s also an Advisor at the Riekes Center for Human Enhancement in Menlo Park.
