SecondMarket Releases Q2 Report On Private Company Transactions – Facebook Hits All Time High

SecondMarket, a trading platform for private company stocks, has just released it’s Q2 2010 report. Overall transactions were down from Q1 – around $51 million in transactions were completed, less than the $70 million traded in March alone at the end of Q1.

Volume may be down, but prices are still going up. Facebook is now being offered at $65/share, and there are bids as high as $60. In April the price was $50/share (Full Article)

Greenscape Announces Solar and Wind Suppliers for Denver Green Parking Project

Environmental sustainability-focused developer Greenscape Capital Group’s renewable vehicle parking arm, Green Park Denver, has selected solar and wind energy suppliers for the renewable energy parking facility it started constructing in the US state of Colorado in May.

The company said it will employ Colorado-based company Vibrant Solar to install eight vertical access wind turbines, manufactured by Mariah Power, around the main entrance drive of the Denver-based parking facility. (Full Article)

Spain may have won the World Cup, but online, we’re all winners. Or at least all the broadcasters are, because they attracted record audiences with live streams of this year’s soccer tournament. Here are some final stats from ESPN, Univision and others:

• ESPN3 clocked nearly 7.4 million unique viewers, generating 15.7 million hours of viewing. 355,000 people per minute tuned in for the semifinal match between Germany and Spain, which makes it ESPN3?s largest average audience ever for a live online sporting event. The network’s World Cup app was downloaded more than 2.5 million times, and it was accessed by 1 million users per day on average. (Full Article)
